If you are looking for what is sure to be a fun outing this next weekend…
The first annual Turquoise Trail Arts Festival will be held on August 29 & 30, 2015, at several stops along the Turquoise Trail from 10am to 4pm each day. A collaboration of local artists will be displaying their work at the various stops. What a great way to spend what is sure to be a gorgeous day in the East Mountains!
In San Pedro Creek Estates, where I live, there will be three open studios with seven artists showing their art. Look for the turquoise flags at:
18 Camino Real – The Camino Realists, Sharon Marks and Lesley Long
1 Prado Vista – The Prado Vista Collective – Nancy Twinem, Betty Lehnus, Gene Case, & Lois Bradley
3 Prado Vista – Sally Badal
Come visit your artist neighbors and enjoy the event!

Happy New Year! I am Liz McGuire, a long-established realtor with Coldwell Banker Legacy in Albuquerque’s East Mountain area. My plans for this blog are primarily to promote life in the East Mountains, showcasing the area, local events, and businesses to anyone who may encounter this blog in their electronic travels. It will also provide me a vehicle to present information on the local real estate market, information which I think may be of interest to homeowners, and allow me to inform East Mountain residents of cultural and other events that may be of interest in Albuquerque, Santa Fe, and other parts of New Mexico. I hope you will enjoy this blog and come back often.
